Like most great things, Unchained was born out of necessity. We watched small and mid-sized businesses struggle with outdated systems, manual processes, and technologies that didn't talk to each other. Business owners we knew were losing hours to administrative work that could be automated, missing growth opportunities because they lacked visibility into their data, and burning cash on software that did too much when they needed something lean and focused.
But more importantly, we saw something deeper. Businesses still running on paper, fragmented records, and untraceable transactions. In a world moving towards digital infrastructure, this wasn't just inefficient, it was limiting trust, scalability, and accountability.
The existing solutions in the market weren't built for them. They were either enterprise software with enterprise prices, or generic tools that needed constant customization. There was a gap. A real one. And we knew we could fill it.

Recognized Early
What started as an idea at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Sonipat, recently gained recognition during a university visit by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini.
The visit emphasized the state’s focus on education, research, AI, and innovation, encouraging students and founders to build, innovate, and become self-reliant, values that align closely with how we’re building Unchained.
Building the Solution
We didn't start with grand ambitions or venture capital. We started with one clear mission: build software that actually solves problems for growing businesses. Software that's affordable. Software that works out of the box but can be customized when needed. Software built with modern technologies so it's fast, secure, and doesn't break every few years.
Our first solutions were ERP systems for small manufacturers and e-commerce platforms for ambitious sellers. We obsessed over every detail because we knew our clients' success was on the line. We talked to them constantly. We iterated. We shipped.

From day one, we focused on eliminating paper-driven workflows and replacing them with systems that are digital by default.
